Hans is an internationally touring American singer, voice actor, author, a voting member of the Recording Academy for the Grammys. He served six years in the Air Force as an Atmospheric & Space Scientist, aiding in exercise Eager Lion, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation New Dawn, and Operation Guardian. He has deployed to the middle-east and worked directly with National Weather Service, the Hurricane Hunters, NOAA, JTWC, presidential ADVON teams, NATO, forecasted for the Army Golden Knights Parachute Team during a NASCAR event, the 2023 Cannonball Run, and even assisted with the landing clearance of the Space Shuttle Atlantis for the STS-135 final mission of the American Space Shuttle program in 2011. After receiving the Air Force Achievement Medal and Global War On Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, he continued in Aviation as a Meteorologist and Flight Dispatcher for Collins Aerospace for five years, while pursuing a musical career as a vocalist and performing in venues internationally.
On 08/21/2018, he facilitated Air Traffic Control, Pilot, and Dispatch communications, coordinating a successful and safe emergency landing of N101CV with Post Malone onboard, after blowing its tires during takeoff and enroute to the Reading and Leeds Festival in England. From Taylor Swift to Elon Musk, Hans has provided international trip support, dispatch, and meteorological services for VIP Celebrity Charter Flights, Corporate General Aviation, Fortune 100-500 companies, and Military and Government Operations. Hans also studied Digital Media at the University of Houston, later obtaining the entrepreneurial Small Business Administration's "Boots to Business" certification.
His lyrical inspiration comes from Western Esotericism and philosophy, having a deep fraternal background. Hans enjoyed participating and volunteering in these charitable organizations that helped local communities. Starting as a Master Mason at age 21, he then went onto join the same Shriners lodge (Arabia Shrine) as Buzz Aldrin, he became a Knight Templar within the York-Rite, a 32nd Degree in the Scottish-Rite, he joined Sodalitas Rosae+Crucis & Solis Alati, Ecclesia Theurgica Apostolica Rosae + Crucis, Builders of the Adytum (B.O.T.A), and the Theosophical Society. This led him to continue self-study into the 33rd degree of Scottish-Rite, 96th degree of Memphis-Misraim, and Ordo Templis Orientis (O.T.O) on his own. Hans additionally was interviewed on a podcast by Carroll Poke Runyon (Frater Thabion) and personally extended an honorary invite within the Church of the Hermetic Sciences and the Ordo Templi Astartes (O.T.A.). Recently, he has been instructed on Kabbalistic, Grimoiric, Goetic, and Enochian Ceremonies by Bryan Garner (Frater Ashen Chassan) and Aaron Leitch, Jason Newcomb, Scott Michael Stenwick, Joshua Gadbois (Rufus Opus), Stephanie Connolly Reisner, and was mentored by Darcy Kuntz regarding Alchemy. He then published his book The Neophyte's Notebook, which documented his thoughts as he wrestled philosophical questions and contains the backstories to multiple songs that have been released by Hans and Gret.
Gret studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales, and was one of the youngest students ever accepted into the undergraduate program, auditioning at age 15. She went on to complete her Master's in piano performance from the London College of Music by age 21 and began her teaching career in the States in 2008, building a reputation for her innovative methods in teaching piano technique.
She studied with prominent artists such as Vivien Harvey Slater, Fazliddin Husanov, Michael Schreider and had Masterclasses with Bernard Roberts, Boris Berman, Martin Jones, Irina Osipova, Julian Jacobson, and Robert Sholl. Gret has received a classical training that can directly be traced back from Slater, Eisenberger, Leschetizky, Liszt, Czerny, and to Beethoven. Gret has performed in Wales, England, India, and along the US East Coast. She has been recorded for WCNY radio, TV, and received prizes for her performances of Beethoven, Mozart, and Chopin. More recently, she completed professional studies on Music and the Brain through Berklee College of Music and additionally holds certificates in audio engineering and electronic music production.
Gret is also a lead Perfumer at DIY Scent Studio, where they offer Make-Your-Own Perfume classes and DIY Kits online. Her knowledge stems from global travel and formal training in Grasse, France and Coriano, Italy. She finds the parallels of scent and music fascinating, combining both music and scent for an inspiring fusion of the senses. Her business has been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Network's Love & Marriage D.C, Markets Insider, BeautyMatter, Northern Virginia Magazine, The Ritz Herald, Beauty News UK, Globalcoinews, Obarbas, A2Q Magazine, and worked in partnership with non-profit organizations like the Qatar America Institute for Culture.
